The lithium-ion power battery and energy storage battery project of Ganzhou Norway New Energy Co., Ltd. was invested and established by Dongguan Norway New Energy Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 1.22 billion yuan. The first phase of the project leases about 25000 square meters of standard workshops 1, 2 and 3 of Ganzhou Electronic Information Industry Technopole in Longnan Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total investment of 500 million yuan
Since the signing of the contract on July 17th this year, the project has quickly completed preliminary work such as industrial and commercial registration, project approval, and environmental impact assessment. The factory decoration and equipment installation were completed in October, and it was officially put into operation on November 6th.
The project only took 112 days from signing the contract to production, reproducing the "Longnan speed". After the project reaches its production capacity, it will form a production capacity of about 20 million batteries and about 60000 battery packs, respectively.
At the same time, the company plans to purchase 200 mu of land to carry out plant construction and other work of the second phase project, and cooperate with Central South University to set up a lithium battery research and development center to produce lithium batteries for vehicles and other products. At that time, it will further enhance the effect of Longnan's electronic information industry cluster, accelerate the pace of the construction of Ganzhou's electronic information industry Technopole, and inject strong power into Longnan's "focusing on industry, doubling in three years".
This project has extremely high scientific significance, as it can bring positive impacts to national economic development, energy constraints, sustainable development strategies, and enterprise technology upgrades.As a major component of the battery industry, lithium-ion batteries are the fastest-growing part of the current battery industry.
